OK. I'm going to assume that you have tried it with the remote and the on/off button.

What is the model # and did the TV show any signs of impending doom prior to it failing? Anything at all?

The first thing to check is the main fuse. It will be inside the TV. It may be accessible from the outside but you usually have to take the back off.

That would be the first step. If the fuse is OK, we can try the next most likely failure.
